CVA expanded its facility at Ameriport in Baytown, Texas (USA) to meet the growing demand for Frac Pumpers and other well stimulation equipment. Production from this facility began in January 2011 to expedite delivery capacity from four units to six per month. This facility ideally located near all modes of transportation: rail, an interstate highway, and a shipping terminal will aid in fast product delivery and service.
CVA started manufacturing its first cryogenic equipment in 2000 from existing plant at La Porte, Texas and subsequently added up well stimulation equipments. The company’s expansion all the way to present day has been necessary to meet surging demand of E & P companies.
The manufacturing facility is of immense proportions; the building is 42,000 square feet with a 60 foot ceiling allowing for a full 50 foot hook height. Riding at the top of the building are two 50-ton cranes. At 600 feet in length and 68 foot in width, with this enormous expansion CVA expects to boost its volume production and there by leveraging the company to serve customer efficiently. To give some perspective, the inside of the building is almost the length of two football fields and half as wide. It is the largest in the CVA Texas complex.
CVA completed Phase 2 of the construction plan, by adding an additional 80 foot by 600 foot lean-to with 36 bays for Fracturing and LNG product assembly. Further complementing this build-out are six 10-ton cranes with 24 foot hook height to support production, with separate blast and paint booths to the complex.
