LNG Team conducts a mock drill at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) Retail outlet,Luvara near Bharuch. With an aim to train the employees for handling emergency situations and also review the efficiency of the rescue activity, a mock drill was conducted by the LNG nd Department at BPCL on 22nd March, 2013.

The mock drill was conducted to :

• Assess response time to carry out immediate rescue activity.
• Assess communication effectiveness.
• Identify risk-prone area or activity.

As part of the mock drill, employees were trained to transfer LNG from one tanker to another on-road. A standard operating plan was worked out and the mock drill was successfully executed.
