The 3 rd  Annual European LNG Fuelled Shipping Summit held on 19-20th Feb’13 saw an amalgamation of key industry leaders and Companies committed to making LNG fuelled shipping a commercial reality. Theme of the conference was ‘Overcoming the financial, practical & technical inhibitors to the LNG fuelled shipping success’. INOXCVA was one of the spotlight partners and presented ‘IMO container based solutions for LNG bunkering / fuel systems’. The topic generated substantial interest in the industry circuit considering the fact that the SOx /NOx emission control deadlines are fast approaching in most parts of Europe and North America. Considering the lack of LNG bunkering infrastructure in the present scenario, the proposed solutions gave an insight towards dealing with issues related to LNG fuelled ships, particularly the inland water and coastal ships.
